The 4th ECCA conference, which will be held from the 28th to the 31st May 2019, aims to examine possible answers for the reduction of risks linked to environmental and social stressors and ensure a secure future for humans and ecosystems. Its purpose is to provide a space that facilitates dialogue among a diverse range of actors, discuss key challenges and solutions in cities and inform the next European funding framework for Research & Innovation. During the conference, different actors will try to find integrated solutions and inspire action, and support ongoing efforts to enhance the coherence and synergy between research, policy and practice.
The biennial European Climate Change Adaptation conference is convened by EU-funded projects on behalf of the European Commission.
