ERASMUS PLUS – Key Action 2 : Erasmus mundus action – 2021

Objectives:

Lot 1: Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM)

• To enhance the attractiveness and excellence of European higher education in the world and to attract talent to Europe by combining institutional academic cooperation and individual mobility for all students.

Lot 2: Erasmus Mundus Design Measures

• To encourage the development of new, innovative, high-level integrated transnational study programmes at Master level.
• Design measures should involve Erasmus + Programme Countries, institutions, and/or thematic areas that are under-represented in Erasmus Mundus.

Lot 1 :

• This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
• Initial duration of the action: 12, 18, 24 months (duration of the Master Programme)

Lot 2:

• This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
• Initial duration of the action: 15 months

Eligibility:

Lot 1:

• Public or private organisations
• HEIs established in a Programme Country must hold a valid Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE)

Lot 2:

• Higher education institution established in a Programme or Partner Country

Lot 1:

Contribution to the institutional costs of the EMJM

The maximum contribution to the institutional costs is: 570 EUR/month x DR x NRES

• DR = ma duration in months of the Master Programme (12, 18, 24 months).
• NRES = number of enrolled students foreseen for the entire duration of the grant agreement.

Student scholarships

Calculation of the max scholarship per student: 1400 EUR /month x DS.

• DS = duration of the master.

Calculation of the maximum EMJM scholarship amount for the duration of the grand agreement: 1400 EUR/mont x DR x NRS

• NRS = number of scholarship foreseen for the entire duration of the grant agreement

Lot 2:

The lump sum will amount to EUR 55.000 per project
