Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To raise awareness about the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) within the EU
  • To disseminate information about the Common Agricultural Policy
  • To help citizens understand the CAP through coherent, evidence based, objective and comprehensive information

Priorities

  • Priority 1: the CAP’s role in supporting a fair prospects income for farmers) and their position in the food supply chain
  • Priority 2: its contribution to ensuring competitiveness and the long-term resilience of EU
    agriculture
  • Priority 3: agri-food systems functioning with planetary boundaries, preserving healthy soils, clean water and air, and protecting and restoring Europe’s biodiversity
  • Priority 4: the support to generational renewal and improving gender balance
  • Priority 5: addressing misconceptions and disinformation narratives and strengthening information integrity

  • Communication campaigns
  • Production and distribution/broadcast of print, multimedia or audiovisual material
  • Web and social media outreach activities
  • Media events
  • Conferences, seminars, workshops reaching a significant number of citizens
  • Studies on CAP-related issues

Eligibility

  • be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs))
  • Beneficiaries and affiliated entities must register in the Participant Register — before submitting the proposal — and will have to be validated by the Central Validation Service (REA Validation).

Only applications by single applicants are allowed (single beneficiaries; affiliated entities and other participants are allowed, if needed).
