Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To strengthen cooperation between labour market actors and migrants themselves at EU, regional, national and local levels

Priorities

  • Priority 1: to advance effective inclusion of migrants in the labour market both early on after their arrival in the EU and at a level adequate to their qualifications
  • Priority 2: to contribute to a better matching between skills, competences and qualifications of migrants that are already in the EU, on the one hand, and demand on EU labour markets on the other hand
  • Priority 3: to promote inclusive workplaces, including by raising awareness about direct and indirect discrimination and elaborating good practice on tackling discrimination and promoting diversity in the workplace
  • Priority 4: to promote sustainable employment conditions for migrants, in particular beneficiaries of international and temporary protection and applicants for international protection

Among financed actions

  • Developing innovative approaches to labour market integration, including by promoting/building on the EU tools available
  • Upscaling activities of established good practices
  • Developing and providing training to stakeholders (e.g. bridging courses and on the-job training for migrants; capacity building for SMEs), building on existing good practices
  • Conferences, workshops, awareness-raising and other activities to create and strengthen partnerships between key labour market actors and further refine the solutions to labour market integration for migrants at the appropriate level of qualifications

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the call: 36 months

Eligibility

  • Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be an EU Member States excluding Denmark
  • Be an international organisation
  • Be an entity without legal personality
  • Be an associations and interest groupings
  • Countries currently negotiating association agreements
  • Profit making entities and international organisation can not apply as coordinator
  • A consortium composed of at least 4 entities, established in at least 4 different EU Member States must be constituted
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 40 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic “AMIF-2023-TF2-AG-CALL-04-LABOUR”: 6 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: between 1 and 2 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 90% of the total eligible costs
