Objectives

  • To enhance the prevention of irregular migration in countries of origin and transit and to undermine the business models of migrant smugglers by reducing the demand for their services
  • To define and to dispel mis- and disinformation
  • To inform potential migrants about the risks
  • To promote legal pathways
  • To provide information on economic opportunities in the country of origin or transit
  • To build resilience in local communities

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
    • Countries associated to the AMIF (associated countries) or countries which are in ongoing negotiations for an association agreement and where the agreement enters into force before grant signature
  • A consortium composed of at least 3 entities, established in at least 3 different EU Member States or associated countries to the programme must be constituted

  • Total budget of the call: 10 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: between 1.250 million euro and 2.5 million euro
