Objectives

  • To strengthen the transnational creation and circulation of European works and artists
  • To enhance the capacity of European cultural and creative sectors to nurture talents, to innovate, to prosper and to generate jobs and growth

  • Priority 6: annual sector-specific priority, for the sectors of cultural heritage, music, book and publishing, architecture, fashion and design, sustainable cultural tourism

Among financed actions

  • To increase cultural access to and participation in culture as well as audience engagement and development both physically and digitally
  • To promote societal resilience and to enhance social inclusion in/through culture
  • To co-create, adopt and disseminate more environment-friendly practices, in line with the European Green Deal and the New European Bauhaus
  • To help the European cultural and creative sectors to undertake or accelerate their digital transition, also as a response to the COVID-19 crisis
  • To build the capacity within the European cultural and creative sectors, including grass-roots organisations and micro-organisations, to be active at the international level – in Europe and beyond

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: 48 months

Eligibility

  • Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries
  • International organisations
  • Entities without legal personality
  • Associations and interest groupings
  • Countries currently negotiating association agreements
  • Proposals must be submitted by a consortium of at least 5 entities from 5 different eligible countries
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 60 076 809 euro
  • Total budget of the topic “CREA-CULT2023-COOP-2 European Cooperation projects (medium)”: 21 026 883 euro
  • Amount of the grant: max. 1 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 70% of the total eligible costs
