Priorities and funded actions

Objective

To increase the involvement of girls and women in ICT, and thus make progress towards the DDPP objective of employing 20 million ICT specialists in the Union by 2030, as well as towards the objective of the “Women’s Digital Declaration” concerning equality in technology.

Priorities

  • Priority 1: Identify the main barriers faced by girls and women when choosing educational and career paths in ICT
  • Priority 2: Present practical, effective and achievable actions to increase their representation in the digital sector
  • Priority 3: Create a network of expertise and a community of stakeholders, so that the Commission remains informed of effective best practices for encouraging and supporting the participation of women in ICT in Europe

Eligibility

  • Be a legal entity (public or private organisation)
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e.:
    • EU Member States (including Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs))
    • Non-EU countries: listed EEA countries and countries associated with Digital Europe
