Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To lay the foundations for radically new future technologies of any kind with unexpected impact
  • To bring radical technological superiority over potential adversaries

Priorities

  • Priority 1: disruptive impact in a defence context (to create a disruptive effect when integrated in a realistic military operation)
  • Priority 2: radical vision (to address a clear and radical vision, enabled by a new technology concept that challenges current paradigms)
  • Priority 3: breakthrough technological target (to target novel and ambitious scientific or technological breakthroughs that can be experimentally assessed)

Among financed actions

  • Activities that aim to create, underpin and improve knowledge, products and technologies
  • Activities that aim to increase interoperability and resilience, including secured production and exchange of data
  • Design of a defence product, tangible or intangible component or technology

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is a restricted call for proposals. In first instance, only concept notes will be evaluated
  • Initial duration of the action: between 12 and 48 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries
  • Be a consortium composed of at least 2 independant entities from at least 2 different eligible countries
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 40 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic: 10 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: between 20 and 100%
