Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To continue performing Air Surveillance and Control in the changing context of civil aviation sector, facing the density and diversity increase of air traffic
  • To ensure the interoperability and data exchange between civil and military control centres and to support the planning, tasking and execution of air operations 24/7

Priorities

  • Priority 1: Technical interoperability for real time flight and airspace management data exchanges (with relation to ability to exchange, exploit and fill Flight Objects, etc.)
  • Priority 2: Security aspects to ensure cross-domain exchanges
  • Priority 3: Assessment of resulting ATM safety levels as any ATC civil-military interoperability system

Among financed actions

  • Activities that aim to create, underpin and improve knowledge, products and technologies
  • Activities that aim to increase interoperability and resilience, including secured production and exchange of data
  • Design of a defence product, tangible or intangible component or technology

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: between 12 and 48 months
  • The grant amount will be fixed in the grant agreement

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries
  • Be a consortium composed of at least 3 independant entities from at least 3 different eligible countries
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 270 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic: 20 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: between 20 and 100%
