Objective
To promote the development and/or the strengthening of the scientific knowledge needed to support the science-basis for fisheries conservation and management measures
Priorities
Priority 1: the reinforcement of policy-oriented fisheries science
Priority 2: the better use of the collected scientific data
Priority 3: the improved cooperation between scientists and the fisheries sector
Priority 4: the contribution in supporting the EU scientific community in developing and maintaining the relevant expertise to provide high quality scientific advice
Among financed actions
Collection and processing of samples and/or data in the field falling outside the scope of national data collection programmes
Harmonise and/or improve protocols of data collection, handling and management to serve the scientific advisory process
Trials
Meta-analysis, data validation and/or data preparation to feed into models
Developing new advice formats or frequencies

This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
Initial duration of the action: between 18 and 24 months
Eligibility
Be a legal person
Be a research centre, institute, university, foundation and scientific body primarily active in fisheries science or in marine science applied to fisheries management
Financement
Total budget of the call: 2.6 million euro
Amount of the grant: between 400.000 and 600.000 euro
Co-financing rate: up to 80% of the total eligible costs
