Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To raise the capacity of organisations working with young people outside formal learning
  • To promote non-formal learning activities in the eligible third countries not associated to the Programme
  • To support the development of youth work in the eligible third countries not associated to the Programme, improving its quality and recognition
  • To foster the development, testing and launching of schemes and programmes allowing organisations to enhance non-formal learning mobility in the eligible third countries not associated to the Programme
  • To support organisations in the eligible third countries not associated to the Programme to contribute to the implementation of the EU Youth Strategy (2019-2027) including the 11 European Youth Goals
  • To foster cooperation through joint initiatives between youth organisations
  • To foster participation of smaller organisations, as well as organisations from remote areas and smaller localities
  • To enhance synergies and complementarities of youth organisations working with young people outside formal learning with formal education systems and/or the labour market

Among financed actions

  • The development of tools and methods for the socio-professional development of youth workers and trainers
  • The development of non-formal learning methods, especially those promoting the acquisition/improvement of competences, including media literacy skills
  • The development of new forms of practical training schemes and simulation of real-life cases in society
  • The development of new forms of youth work, notably strategic use of open and flexible learning, virtual cooperation
  • The organisation of events/seminars/workshops/exchange of good practice for cooperation, networking
  • The organisation of mobility activities for youth workers in order to test tools and methods developed by the partnership

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be a non-profit making entity
  • Be NGOs (including European Youth NGOs and national Youth Councils) working in the field of youth
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries:
    • EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme, or in third countries not associated to the Programme (see details on the Erasmus Programme Guide)
  • A consortium composed of at least 4 entities, which complies different conditions (see details on the Erasmus Programme Guide) must be constituted

    • 3 million euro (Region 2: Neighborhood East)
    • 4 million euro (Region 3: South Mediterranean Countries)
    • 4 million euro (Region 9 Sub-Saharan Africa)
    • 3.5 million euro (Region 1 :Western Balkans)
  • Amount of the grant:
    • up to 300.000 euro (regions 1,2,3)
    • up to 450.000 euro (region 9)
  • Funding rate: up to 80% of the total eligible costs
