Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To implement the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan
  • To extend the implementation coverage of the first cohort of inter-speciality cancer training programme
  • To enroll new new cancer centres, as well as additional trainees and trainers

  • Priority 1: to roll-out the second cohort of trainees
  • Priority 2: to organise events to share experience

  • Selection process for the trainees, trainers and cancer centres
  • Training conducted in at least 15 Member States
  • Inclusion of trainees from Ukraine
  • Focus on pediatric cancers

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: 24 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be established in an eligible country
  • Be academia and education establishments, research institutes, hospitals, expert networks, Member States’ authorities and established networks in the field of public health
  • A consortium composed of at least 15 entities, established in at least 7 different EU Member States or associated countries to the programme must be constituted
  • Participation of trainees from a minimum of 100 different cancer centres in EU and associated countries
  • Participation of trainees of cancer centres based in Ukraine
  • Specific training of health specialists who have left Ukraine and are displaced in EU Member States and neighbouring countries, must be included.
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 23 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic “EU4H-2022-PJ-14”: 7 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: 7 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 60 or 80% of the total eligible costs
