Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To identify partners among Article 36 organisations which can support EFSA PLANTS unit on activities regarding, in particular, the ERA of plant protection products (PPP)
  • To create a pool of expertise from different organisations to support EFSA with the execution of projects in main working areas

Priorities

  • Priority 1: Characterise the exposure of PPPs in different environmental matrices
  • Priority 2: Characterise the hazards to terrestrial NTOs among different levels of biological organisation, and across species
  • Priority 3: Collect and evaluate the methodologies and tools
  • Priority 4: Exploring the integration and interconnection of data from different sources via the development of a common platform for risk assessments

Among financed actions

  • Data collection and analysis
  • Generation of raw data via experimental work (both laboratory and field work)
  • Development of protocols

Additional information

This call for proposals will result in the signature of a Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA) to develop, in collaboration with EFSA, specific projects over the next four years in support of advancing the methodology of ERA of PPPs.

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be on the list of competent organisations designated by the Member States in accordance with Article 36 of Regulation (EC) 178/2002 and Commission Regulation (EC) 2230/2004
  • A consortium composed of at least three eligible organisations
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 10 million euro
