Objectives

To facilitate the transition toward a sustainable, circular, toxic-free, energy-efficient/climate-resilient economy and toward a toxic-free environment
To protect, restore and improve the quality of the environment

Priorities

LIFE-2024-SAP-ENV-ENVIRONMENT: To adress one or more of the following topics: Circular Economy and Waste, Air, Water, Soil, Noise, Chemicals, A new European Bauhaus
LIFE-2024-SAP-ENV-GOV: To adress one or more of the following topics: Activities in support of public administrations’ decision-making and voluntary approaches, Environmental compliance assurance and access to justice, Behavioral change and awareness-raising initiatives

Eligibility

Be a legal person
Be a public or private entity
Be established in one of the eligible countries:
- EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
- Non-EU states: listed EEA countries and countries associated to the LIFE programme (Click here)
The coordinator must be established in an eligible country

Additional information

Initial duration of the action: between 24 and 120 months

Total budget of the call: 79.5 million euro
Total budget of the topic:
- LIFE-2024-SAP-ENV-ENVIRONMENT: 73 million euro
- LIFE-2024-SAP-ENV-GOV: 6.5 million euro
Amount of the grant:
- LIFE-2024-SAP-ENV-ENVIRONMENT: between 2 million and 7 million euro
- LIFE-2024-SAP-ENV-GOV: between 0.7 million and 2 million euro
Funding rate: up to 60% of the total eligible costs
