PPPA – A European public sphere: a new online media offer for young Europeans – 2023

Priorities and funded actions

Objective

To engage with young Europeans by creating curated online spaces that gather thought-provoking journalistic content around current affairs, empowering them to compare and contrast national, regional and local perspectives from across Europe, discuss and discover how their interests link to interests of young Europeans in other Member States, and to relevant EU initiatives.

Priorities

  • Priority 1: To pay particular attention to cost-efficiency and effectiveness
  • Priority 2: To include concrete deliverables and set clear, objectively verifiable and quantifiable performance indicators for all activities, incl. content aggregation, content production, content distribution and promotion as well as awareness-raising activities
  • Priority 3: To address financial sustainability in the long-term and explain whether (and how) the project can be continued independently once the requested period of EU support has ended

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals.
  • Initial duration of the action: 14 months
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 9 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: between 1.5 million and 3.2 million euro per project
  • Co-financing rate: up to 80% of the total eligible costs
