Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To strengthen the energy resilience of SMEs through direct financial support for the adoption of technological or non-technological solutions to improve energy efficiency as well as complementary investments in skills and managerial practices
  • To launch a new action to support SMEs in their efforts to improve their energy efficiency including for their buildings, processes and production lines
  • To give commercial opportunities to SMEs offering technological or non-technological solutions to energy-efficiency related issues by creating markets to test, commercialise, and deploy such innovative solutions, and connect with other SMEs needing their solutions

Priorities

  • Priority 1: to provide energy efficiency support to SMEs thereby fostering their sustainable growth and resilience
  • Priority 2: to facilitate the commercialisation and deployment of innovative technologies for energy reduction in the Single Market
  • Priority 3: to promote a favourable business environment for SMEs, support their transition to more energy-efficient and digital business models and promote new business opportunities for SMEs, especially those offering innovative business models and solutions
  • Priority 4: to support the competitiveness and resilience of industrial ecosystems and sectors, particularly those that are more energy-intensive
  • Priority 5: to promote the modernisation of industry, contributing to a green, digital and resilient economy

Among financed actions

  • Collecting data on the implementation and impact of the activities, and the performance of both SME beneficiary and control group SMEs
  • Ensuring suitable links with complementary services
  • Link supported companies to support services for access to complementary sources of funding for energy-efficiency investments, either private or public at European, national, regional, or local level

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: 24 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be a SME
  • Be a member of the Enterprise Europe Network 2022-2025 with an ongoing grant agreement signed with the EISMEA
  • A consortium composed of at least 5 entities, established in at least 3 different EU Member States or associated countries to the programme must be constituted
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 10 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 100% of the total eligible costs
