Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To select intermediary organisations based on their project proposals for supporting Ukrainian new entrepreneurs
  • To provide on-the-job-training for Ukrainian new entrepreneurs with established host entrepreneurs in small and medium-sized enterprises abroad in the SMP Participating Countries (EU and third countries) in order to facilitate a successful start-up, and development of their business ideas
  • To foster sharing of experience and information between Ukrainian and other European entrepreneurs on the obstacles and challenges of starting up and developing their businesses
  • To enhance market access and identification of potential partners for Ukrainian new entrepreneurs in other SMP Participating Countries
  • To support networking between Ukrainian and other European entrepreneurs from different SMP Participating Countries by building on knowledge and experience
  • To contribute to the EU’s support to Ukrainian entrepreneurs and facilitate the continuation of business in Ukraine and the reconstruction phase of the country after Russia’s military aggression

Priorities

  • Priority 1: to match Ukrainian new entrepreneurs with host entrepreneurs from other SMP participating countries
  • Priority 2: to propose “sustainable/green” and “digital” business models
  • Priority 3: to consider gender balance of recruited entrepreneurs, both new and hosts

  • Management, quality control and evaluation

  • Promotion of the programme
  • Enrolment of entrepreneurs
  • Assessing applications from Ukrainian
  • Management of grant agreements with new entrepreneurs, commitments and financial assistance

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: 28 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal entity
  • Be a public entity responsible for or active in the fields of economic affairs, enterprise, business support or related issues
  • Be a chamber of commerce and industry, chamber of (handi)crafts or similar body
  • Be a business support organisation, start-up centre, incubator, technology park
  • Be a business association and business support network
  • Be a public and private entity offering business support services
  • Be an institute of (higher) education
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 3 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 30 % of the total eligible costs
