Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To support the action of the Member States in organising a thorough assessments of public procurement in the health sector at national and/or regional level by way of collective intelligence

Priorities

  • Development of new or improved national and regional strategies on public procurement that will make current practices more resilient and efficient all over the Union
  • Increase preparadness for future health crises
  • Increase cooperation and coordination between Member States at national, regional and local level

Among financed actions

  • Mapping of the public procurement environment in the health sector: mapping of the purchases and of all relevant stakeholders
  • Listing of relevant thematics to organise the work and facilitate exchanges
  • New strategies for public procurement in health sector
  • Dissemination of the results of the project in a final conference with European dimension

Additional information

  • This call of proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: between 12 and 18 months

Eligibility

  • Be legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries
  • A consortium composed of at least 3 entities, established in at least 3 different EU Member States or associated countries to the programme must be constituted
  • Consortium composition:
    • At least 1 membre must have solid public procurement experience in the health sector
    • At least 1 member must have solid experience and already gone through such an assessment exercise in view of establishing a puchase strategy

 

Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 5 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: up to 5 million euro (between 1 to 3 grant agreements signed)
  • Co-financing rate: between 60% and 80% of the total of the eligible costs
