Priorities and funded actions

Objective

To modernise transport infrastructure on the Core and Comprehensive Networks of the TEN-T.

Among financed actions

  • Works aiming at the development of new safe and secure parking areas to be certified in accordance with Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1012
  • Works aiming at upgrading the safety and security of existing parking areas certified or to be certified in accordance with Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1012
  • Improvement of transport infrastructure resilience, in particular to adapt/upgrade the infrastructure or to install smart monitoring systems due to climate change and/or natural disasters

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals.
  • Initial duration of the action: works and mixed projects should be 4-5 years maximum. For studies projects it should be 2-3 years maximum

Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 100 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: any amount are admitted
  • Co-financing rate:
    • For studies: maximum 50%  of the total eligible costs
    • For works (topic “improving transport infrastructure resilience”): maximum 30% of the total eligible costs
    • For works (topic “safe and secure parking infrastructure” and “adapting the transport infrastructure for Union external border checks purposes”): maximum 50% of the total eligible costs
    • For works in outermost regions: maximum 70% for the costs of works in outermost regions
