Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To support a comprehensive and intersectional approach, funding specific actions to prevent and fight against discrimination and combat intolerance,
    racism and xenophobia

Priorities

  • Priority 1: fighting against discrimination and combating racism, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance, including antigypsyism, anti-Black racism,
    antisemitism and anti-Muslim hatred
  • Priority 2: promoting diversity management and inclusion at the workplace, both in the public and private sector
  • Priority 3: fighting discrimination against LGBTIQ people and promoting LGBTIQ equality through the implementation of the LGBTIQ Equality Strategy
  • Priority 4: call for public authorities to improve their responses to (intersectional) discrimination, racism, antisemitism, anti-Muslim hatred and xenophobia, LGBTIQ-phobia and all other forms of intolerance

Among financed actions

  • Coalition building, capacity building and training for professionals and victims of (intersectional) discrimination
  • Mutual learning, exchange of good practices, cooperation, including identifying best practices which may be transferable to other participating countries
  • Dissemination and awareness-raising, including social media or press campaigns
  • Promotion of digital skills and critical thinking

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Inital duration of the action: between 12 and 24 months

Eligibility

  • Be legal entity (public or private bodies)
  • Be established in one of the EU Member States or countries associated to the CERV Programme
  • Be non-profit making  and at least two applicants to be eligible under the first, second and third priority
  •  Be a public authority and at least two applicants to be eligible under the fourth priority
Financement
  • Total budget of the topic: 20 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: min. 100 000 euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 90% of the total eligible costs

This grant is a lump sum grant.
