Erasmus + – Jean Monnet Actions in other fields of Education and Training: Learning EU Initiatives – 2023

Objectives

• To foster the introduction of a European Union angle in the educational culture of schools and VETs (ISCED 1 –4)
• To strengthen European identity and active citizenship among students and teachers

Priorities

• Priority 1: to empower teachers to teach about the EU
• Priority 2: to improve learning outcomes on EU matters
• Priority 3: to strenghten EU literacy
• Priority 4: to create interest in the European Union and constitute a basis to enhance participation of pupils and students in the democratic process

Among financed actions

• A minimum of 40 teaching hours per school year for three consecutive years on EU based subjects
• Project week
• Study visits
• Immersive activities

Additional information

• This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
• Initial duration of the action: 36 months

Eligibility

• Be a legal person (public or private entity)
• Be school or vocational education and training institution
• Be established in an EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme
• Only applications by single applicants are allowed

• Total budget of the call: 7 million euro
• Total budget of the topic “ERASMUS-JMO-2023-OFET-LEARNING-EU”: 3 million euro
• Amount of the grant: up to 30 000 euro
• Co-financing rate: up to 80% of the total eligible costs
