Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To conceive and test innovative solutions to make supply and demand of sports meet and provide innovation ecosystem
  • To make it possible for new ways of playing sports to be offered to the general public faster

Priorities

  • Priority 1: the development of new forms of practices as well as soft programmes to promote it
  • Priority 2: better integration of new ways of practicing sport and physical activity in the offer of the sport sector
  • Priority 3: an increased participation of young generations to sport
  • Priority 4: the development of light sport facilities

Among financed actions

  • Adaptation of the existing infrastructure and development of light sport facilities
  • Organisation of new forms of physical activities and integration with traditional activities to offer sport activities
  • Innovative approaches to training programmes
  • Intergenerational activities and outreach to young people to increase their participation
  • Use of digital technology and social media

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Only applications by single applicants are allowed
  • Initial duration of the action : to 12 to 18 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries
  • Be an organisation active in the field of sport (ex : sport federation or club) which regularly organises sport activities and competitions
  • Be an organisation which has activities in Europe, a European dimension or European impact
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 1. 945 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: up to 400 000 euros
  • Co-financing rate: up to 80% of the total eligible costs
