The Commission proposes to finance five projects for Centres of Professional Excellence through the ERASMUS+ fund. The maximum grant for each of these projects is €4 million. Their fields of activity will range from green innovation, to social inclusion issues, to the digital sector.
The five platforms of professional excellence were selected from 55 applications, involving 167 partner organisations from 17 Member States and 4 other countries participating in the Erasmus+ programme.
The platforms of professional excellence will focus on the development of competence ecosystems and innovative teaching methods to ensure the availability of a skilled and quality workforce. They are catalysts for local innovation and business investment.
