The European Research Council has awarded €624 million in funding to the winners of its Advanced Grants competition.

More than 253 leading European researchers will benefit from this funding. This new round of grants will create around 2,300 jobs for post-docs, PhD students and other staff. The winners represent 28 nationalities and will carry out their projects at universities and research centres in 21 EU Member States and countries associated with Horizon Europe.

In this latest call, 1,735 applicants submitted proposals and approximately 14.6% of them will receive funding.
