As part of the negotiation for the future of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF), the European Commission has embarked on the exercise of the review of the State aid framework, which should ensure consistency of the Regulations and the Guidelines with the new rules governing the EMFF for the period 2021-2027.
It therefore launched 3 public consultations on 3 State aid instruments in the field of fisheries and aquaculture:
The purpose of the stakeholder consultation is to collect evidence and views from a broad range of stakeholders in order to assess the relevance , effectiveness , efficiency, coherence and EU added value of the State aid rules for the current and the future period as well as other potential impacts of the reviewed framework.
These online public consultations are being held until 20/09/2019.
