EUBA – EU Bodies and Agencies – 2021-2027

EU Bodies and Agencies (EUBA) are key entities supporting the EU institutions in implementing their policies. With their own autonomy, they regulate and supervise a wide range of areas such as food safety, health, the environment, asylum and justice. Each of them publishes its own calls for proposals to mobilise the scientific, technical and legal expertise it needs to carry out its missions.

These are autonomous entities set up by the European Union to assist it in highly specialised technical areas: food safety, health, the environment, asylum and justice. They have their own budget and publish their own calls for proposals.
Mainly research centres and universities, associations and NGOs, national administrations and European or international organisations, depending on the conditions of each call.
There is no single budget envelope: each agency funds from its own budget. Recent calls ranged from around €100,000 to €800,000.
