Switch To Mediterranean is an initiative implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and other institutions, and co-financed by the European Union. The 8 beneficiary countries are Algeria, Morocco, Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia and Israel. The program aims to achieve productive, circular and shared economies in the Mediterranean by changing the way goods and services are consumed and produced, so that human development is dissociated from environmental degradation.
