Priorities and funded actions

Objective

To support public bodies responsible for the implementation of the LIFE programme in improving the participation and increasing the quality of submitted proposals from those countries.

Among financed actions

  • Training activities for the staff members of the National Contact Points
  • Targeted and tailor-made communication campaigns on the LIFE Programme
  • Gap analysis and assessment of policy uptake of LIFE project results
  • Screening of national environmental and climate actions priorities to support LIFE projects

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
    • Non-EU states: listed EEA countries and countries associated to the LIFE (Click here)
  • A consortium composed of at least 1 entity, established in at least x different EU Member States or associated countries to the programme must be constituted
  • The coordinator must be established in an eligible country

  • Initial duration of the action: between 36 and 60 months

Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 8.000.000 euro
  • Amount of the grant: between 350.000 and 450.000 euro
  • Funding rate: up to 95% of the total eligible costs
