CEF – CEF 2 Transport – Actions related to smart and interoperable mobility – General envelope – 2026

Objectives

• To modernise transport infrastructure and enhance the digitalisation of road transport on the TEN-T network
• To contribute to the deployment of highly automated vehicles on the road for real operation, requiring investment in infrastructure to ensure the efficient operation of autonomous vehicles

Among financed actions

• Establishing control centers
• Deploying digital infrastructure for accurate vehicle positioning and communication with the surrounding environment

Eligibility

• Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
• Be established in one of the eligible countries:
  • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
  • Countries associated to the CEF Programme (list of participating countries)
• Beneficiaries and affiliated entities must register in the Participant Register before submitting the proposal
