Priorities and funded actions

Objective

To develop early warning mechanisms and guidance in the area of pricing through the EURIPID database, based on lessons from competition cases, in particular on excessive pricing.

Priorities

  • Priority 1: create common approaches to verify claims on price information and to provide appropriate guidance to adjust pricing methodologies.
  • Priority 2: prevent price increases based on unfounded claims to recover investments and increased costs.

Among financed actions

Monitoring of strategic sequencing of price increases of threats to de-list reimbursable medicines or withdraw of medicines.

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: between 12 and 36 months

Eligibility

  • Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries
  • A consortium composed of at least 6 eligible applicants established in at least 5 different eligible countries.
Financement
  • Total amount of the call: 107,3 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic “Develop early warning features and guidance in the area of pricing through the EURIPID database, based on competition cases“: 300,000 euro
  • Amount of the grant : up to 300,000 euro – one single proposal
  • Co-financing rate: up to 60% of the total eligible costs; or up to 80% if your project is of “exceptional utility”
