CEF – CEF 2 Transport – Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility – General envelope – 2026

Objective

To support the deployment of alternative fuels supply infrastructure for road transport, and airport ground operations, contributing to decarbonising transport along the TEN-T network.

Priorities

• Priority 1: publicly accessible charging pools for Heavy Duty Vehicles (HDV)
• Priority 2: electrification of airport ground operations

Eligibility

• Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
• Be established in one of the eligible countries:
  • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
  • Non-EU states: countries associated to the CEF Programme (list of participating countries)
• Beneficiaries and affiliated entities must register in the Participant Register before submitting the proposal.

• Funding rate: maximum between 30% and 70% of the total eligible costs
