Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To support training promoting the digitalisation of national justice systems
  • To build the “digital capacity” of justice professionals
  • To address training needs stemming from the Regulation on the digitalisation of judicial cooperation and access to justice in cross-border civil, commercial and criminal matters
  • To promote the digital transition of judicial training methodologies, while also contributing to the effective and coherent application of EU law in the areas of civil law, criminal law, and fundamental rights, including non-discrimination, equality, and the rule of law

Among financed actions

  • Training activities on the use of digital justice tools, in particular with regard to the priority topics set out above
  • Pilot innovative online training using latest methodologies and tools
  • Organisation of interactive, practice-oriented seminars
  • Multilateral exchanges between justice professionals
  • Cross-border initial training activities
  • Joint study visits to European courts
  • Creation of training material
  • Update and/or translation of existing training material possibly combined with adaptation to national settings
  • Creation of tools or activities for training providers
  • Evaluation of the organised training activities on the basis of the participants’ satisfaction

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories, excluding Denmark)
    • Non-EU states: listed EEA countries and countries associated to the Justice Programme (Click here)
  • A consortium composed of at least 2 entities, which complies different conditions (see details on the call document) must be constituted
